Show Hotel: La Quinta Inn, 7141 South 13th Street, Oak Creek, WI 53154. Phone: 414-762-2266. Fax: 414-762-0513. Hotel has a free airport shuttle. Room rate is $65 (double or king). There is no pet deposit required.
Great Lakes Friends of Felines has elected to use the Hotel Room Inspection Procedures for exhibitors who lodge at the La Quinta using the club's group booking. Entry in this show, and lodging at the La Quinta using the club's group booking, shall constitute an acknowledgment by and consent of the exhibitor to these procedures. Full details of the TICA Hotel Policy may be found in Standing Rule 903.7.1 or here. You must confine whole males to a cage or the bathroom.

Show Hall: Cudahy Kennel Club Building, 3820 South Pennsylvania Avenue, St Francis, WI 53235. 414-769-0758. This hall is not air-conditioned. The Show Hall is 2.5 miles Northeast of the Milwaukee Airport.

Airport: The closest airport is General Mitchell International Airport (MKE).

Show Times: Check-in is Saturday 7:30am to 8:30am, Sunday 8:00am to 8:30am. Judging will start at 9:00am both days. Show ends at 5:00pm both days.

Supplies: Litter will be provided but please bring your own litter pans, cat food and dishes.

Cages: This is a Bring Your Own Cage Show . Cages for benching will be brought by each exhibitor or may be purchased with entry (see Summary Sheet for details). Cages for sale are popup in nature. Double spaces will be sold for cages size 22"x22"x36", single space for size 20"x20"x32". Any additional space needed must be purchased. Let the entry clerk know if you are bringing your own cage or whether you need to purchase one. Cages must be covered on three sides as well as the top and bottom. All benching is assigned, benching requests will be honored whenever possible. Grooming spaces will be approximately 22"x45". No "FOR SALE" Cages without an entry in the show.

Entries: Entries will be accepted by postal service, email, fax or online. US funds must be received within 5 days of entry and not extending past the final closing date. Late entries will be accepted, but a $20.00 charge will accompany payment at the door. Any payment at the door must be in CASH.

Best of the Best: Top three Best of the Best will be awarded at the conclusion of the show. It will be calculated using TK Score.

Show Rules: This cat show is licensed and sanctioned by The International Cat Association and is subject to their Show Rules and Breed Standards (available from the TICA Executive Office, P.O. Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551, or posted on the TICA website). By entering, all exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the Show Committee and Judges. Kittens must be at least 3 months of age to enter the show hall and at least 4 months of age to be entered in the show. Proof of age must be available for verification. All Household Pets 8 months of age or older must be neutered or spayed. No kitten/cat may be placed in a carrier underneath the benching area. No kitten/cat may be left in the show hall overnight. Leaving the show hall early without the permission of the show manager may result in the loss of finals.

Registration: All kittens/cats/alters and household pets/household pet kittens will be scored for TICA regional and international awards. Pedigreed cats and household pets may be shown in TICA with a pending registration number. Points may be claimed after the registration number is assigned, but only for the first show where the cat didn't have a registration number in the catalog. Subsequent shows without a registration number will not be scored. There will be supreme rosettes available at the show. All Korats (kittens, cats, alters), Provisional New Breed, Advanced New Breed and New Trait entries must be TICA registered to be shown.

Health: This is a non-vetted show. All kittens/cats must be up-to-date on vaccinations and free of all fleas, parasites and fungus. In addition, kittens/cats from a house/cattery where there has been a contagious/infectious illness will be ineligible for entry or exhibition in any for 21 days after the illness has been eradicated. All accompanying entries will also be dismissed. All claws, front and back, must be clipped prior to judging, and all kittens/cats must be bathed and clean. In the case of disqualification by a veterinarian, the TICA rules state that all other entries owned or agented by the responsible exhibitor shall also forfeit their place and be removed from the show as well.

Clerks/Stewards: See the summary sheet. Clerks and will be paid one regualr entry for two days work, at the end of the show. Do not subtract from your entry fee. Stewards will be paid $10 per day. Lunch will be provided.

Hold Harmless Policy: Great Lakes Friends of Felines, TICA, Cudahy Kennel Club and the La Quinta will be held harmless for any damages, claims, losses, etc. of/to the exhibitor and his/her entries/personal property and/or their guests.
